About Me

Hi there, welcome to my blog.

My name is Hussain and I've created this site as a tool for all researchers, students and all those who are interested in Hospitality studies. I continuously try to gather as much contemporary issues that influence the hospitality industry as possible and add them under Labels. So if you have anything that is interesting, please send them to me.

A little about me, I've worked in the education field teaching different subjects and then worked as a regional consultant for a technology manufacturer, taking care of many aspects of the business including marketing, training and support. Nowadays I’m focused on hospitality studies teaching at an affiliated institute to HTMi Switzerland, and my areas of interest are: E-Learning, Marketing, HRM, Technology and Training & Development.

I’m a frequent traveller, and I’ve been to 32 countries other than my home country. (Saudi,UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Italy, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Potugal, Belgium, Turkey, Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Maldives, India, Egypt, Morocco, Iran, UK and USA) I’ve stayed in many lodges entitling me to reach different levels of memberships including Platinum (the maximum status) in IHG. I’ve enjoyed different cultures and used different means of transportation entitling me to reach Gold (maximum) in both Emirates and Gulf Air.

I'm a soft adventure traveller, in contrast to hard adventurers who don't care about their accommodation, I like a quality stay besides enjoying soft adventures. In the past I've done Scuba Diving (Aqaba), Skiing (Kfar Debian), Jet Skiing (Phuket), Ziplining (Tagaytay), Water Skiing (Sharm elsheikh), Ice Skating (Manama), Parasailing (Aqaba) and Hiking (Yorkshire). I hope to do more in future.

That’s an informal brief about myself, and below are some of my Hospitality memberships. My instagram account is #hu_sain
