Manama, Jan.3 (BNA) Efforts are being made to register Bahrain Fort with Unesco as part of the world cultural heritage, it was revealed.
Bahrain Culture and National Heritage Directorate is also to submit an application to Unesco on Monday detailing all the aspects of the archaeological site, said a report in Bahraini newspaper 'Akhbar Al Khaleej'.
Unesco expert Dr.
Rami Dhaher also said a plan would be drawn up to develop the Fort and other archaeological vestiges and turn them into tourism attractions.
